Consultations

Phone or Online
Consultation
This service offers direct phone or online access to a board-certified neurologist. This is ideal for horse owners, veterinarians, and equine professionals seeking clarity in a puzzling case or expert input on a neurological condition.

Please note: This consultation does not establish a veterinarian-client- patient relationship (VCPR) and does not replace hands-on care.
Medical advice and prescriptions require a local veterinarian.

In-Person
Equine Consultation
This in- person consultation service is tailored for horses presenting with neurological concerns, unexplained poor performance, or suspected back pain. This evaluation provides a thorough assessment of neurological function, posture, biomechanics, and pain-related behaviour.
Please note: A traditional lameness evaluation by your primary care or referral veterinarian is always recommended prior to a consultation as lameness can contribute to neurological symptoms.

In-Person
Small Animal Consultation
Come meet me in person at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates!
This consultation includes a detailed neurological examination, advanced diagnostics (CT and MRI) as well as possible treatment options. This service is appropriate for both first-time evaluations and second opinions. Neurosurgical intervention is one of my areas of expertise and my goal is to help provide a clear and compassionate path forward for you and your pet.
